In August Sam and I were fortunate enough to meet Paul in London. He was covering the games for NBC. We got to attend our first Olympic event, and felt as though Stacey was with us.

My dad and brother and I love the Miami Heat and went to game 6 of the NBA finals. Although they lost, it was a night to remember. I thought of Stacey and how she always wanted to go to the finals. It was my favorite sport event I’ve ever been to.
I traveled down to Cape Canaveral , Florida to view one of the final shuttle launches before the program is closed down. I was very excited to go as I had never seen a rocket launch myself – but the trip took on a special meaning to be able to contribute to Stacey’s list. The launch took place on a beautiful afternoon and the sky lit up from the exhaust flames. We also had an opportunity to tour the adjacent Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and speak with various military personnel in charge of satellites and rocket booster assembly. It could not have been a more interesting trip and one I thought Stacey would have enjoyed very much.
We traveled to Boston for game 5 of a great series. Boston Garden was hopping and the Celtics had a great win. Check the time on the clock in the photo below…2:11 you know Stacey was with us!
Paul and I were lucky enough to vacation in Nicaragua this past September and visit an active volcano in the north. We were also able to volcano board down the side of it after hiking up and exploring into the base. To be able to mark this off the list for Stacey is truly an honor.
